John Who?

a Biblical thought...
"Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son." (Genesis 22:12)

a Book thought...
Real teams do not emerge unless the individuals on them take risks involving conflict, trust, interdependence, and hard work. (p87)
a Dave thought...

It’s funny how we treat someone normally till we find out that they’ve achieved something amazing in life and then for some reason we idolise them. So last night I headed down to Half Moon Bay this time with my wetsuit and joined in his $6 open water swimming session. It was a lot of fun and I got to meet some great people & although I’m not sure what the $6 was for it was certainly memorable to go swimming with John Van Wisse.

Just a thought.
