Noble Park

a Biblical thought...
The former way of doing things, a system of commandments that never worked out the way it was supposed to, was set aside; the law brought nothing to maturity. Another way—Jesus!—a way that does work, that brings us right into the presence of God, is put in its place. (Hebrews 7:17-19)

a Book thought...
To sin, to choose to live in a way that runs contrary to God's reality, is to punish ourselves, to fight against the inherent laws of the universe as God has created them. (p173 Sayers)
a Dave thought...
This is a Elijah and his rocket, which he built during Sunday School at the Noble Park outreach yesterday. As I visited there to farewell Captain Brendon Robertson it was amazing to be in a hall with over 100 Sudanese people and being only one of six whites. As the service went for over two hours and was all in their own language I slipped out and visited the Sunday School and discovered over 50 kids aged from one to 15. It was real eye opener but you could tell God is doing amazing things amongst His people there. Brendon was appointed there over 3 years ago to start the work and has done a great job, setting up a Cafe Salvo, welfare, and several congregations. I'm sure God will continue to grow His kingdom through Noble Park and we say thanks to Brendon for having the vision to get it all happening.

Just a thought.
