The Connection

a Biblical thought...
So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. Then he went to her, and the LORD enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son. The women said to Naomi: "Praise be to the LORD, who this day has not left you without a kinsman-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel! (Ruth 4:13-14)

a Book thought...
All it takes is one idea to solve an impossible problem. (p104)
a Dave thought...
As we continue to pray and plan a way forward for Glenferrie Outreach the word connection continues to come up. As Lyn Lindstrom introduced us to The Connection this week we were inspired to hear their story…

The Connection at St Martin’s helps homeless by providing specialist services - including a day and night centre, outreach for rough sleepers, skills training and career advice, activity programmes and specialist support for complex needs – to 200 people in central London every day. We offer advice, care and support in a welcoming and friendly environment. By encouraging each person to address the issues which caused their homelessness, we help them to gain the skills and confidence to make lasting changes in their lives. http://www.connection-at-stmartins.org.uk/

Connection with God, connection with people & connection with Glenferrie. We want to be about relationships not programs, and we acknowledge that it is God that will build His Church in Glenferrie. We pray it will be so.

Just a thought.
