a Biblical thought...
The LORD bless you for showing this kindness to Saul your master by burying him. May the LORD now show you kindness and faithfulness, and I too will show you the same favor because you have done this. (2 Sam 2:6)
a Book thought...
Ask God to ruin you. Let him break your heart. Let God crush you with a burden. (p180)
a Dave thought...
Last night I got view a copy of the Hansie Cronje Movie on DVD. This story of the South African cricket captain & confessed Christian has had much press over the years and I'm sure will be watched by many sporting lovers across the globe. Being a cricket fan and meeting Pastor Ray McCauley many years ago I was very interested to see how this story of redemption would be portrayed. Hansie was no doubt a charismatic and talented leader who admitted he had a love of money. This proved to be his downfall and cost him dearly, but thank God for grace, like Hansie we all have fallen at times in our life and we all have the opportunity to be redeemed through Christ.
Just a thought.
